If you believe that gamification can change the way of acquiring knowledge and skills, then this section is for you. Here you will find two examples of gamified learning.
The first one is called Chicago City of Learning. CCOL is a citywide effort to engage youth in hands-on learning opportunities—particularly in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
Chicago City of Learning is a groundbreaking initiative that joins together learning opportunities for young people in a way that allows them to think about, pursue, and develop their interests. CCOL breaks down the false barriers between learning that happens in school and learning that happens outside of school. Through CCOL young people can take new paths of discovery, explore the city’s rich resources and find out what they can learn, make, do, and ultimately become.

The second example is Find the Future at NYPL: The Game
This project is called Find the Future: The Game at Your Neighborhood Library. It was advertised to attract people’s attention to books and libraries.
«Become an author and make your own future as you work your way through a series of quests and writing challenges at your Library. Learn game-design mechanics, study the history of your neighborhood, and get inspired and find out what kinds of legacies remain in your neighborhood».
500 people were locked in overnight in the New York Public Library to play a game, have quests, collect artifacts and write a book. 500 authors, one book and one night.
