HI THERE!

My name is TETYANA.

I am a teacher of English as a foreign language to students of elementary, middle and high school.
I teach students of various age background.

My major focus lies in finding out the appropriate manner and methods to reach excellent results in my job. This implies I am always in the search of valuable techniques which would lead to the comfort in the educational process on both sides.

I have been constantly shaping my teaching style. And it is not so easy as it seems to be.

What is the reason for my shaping? My students and me are of different generation environment. Thus I should try and deliver my information in the way which would be readily accepted by my students.

How to make the classroom domain more desirable for students in order to engage them into learning-this is the question to be explored in this online course. Why is this course called teaching teens?

The answer is very simple. Teaching teens is considered to be one of the most challenging educational actions with both inside and outside the classroom. Of course, all teachers have their own preference for which age group they like (and don’t like!) to teach, but generally speaking, teenagers have a bit of a tricky reputation.

The key to teaching teens is keeping their attention. Teens get distracted very easily.

As a teacher, we need to make our lessons relevant for our learners, in this context-teenagers.

I will gladly share my experience of choosing tools and resources for teaching. To be more precise I will introduce my list of sites which have greatly contributed to making my students more active learners.

This idea will be presented at the end of our meeting.
